Fitness Training
What are your fitness goals?
- Getting in good physical shape and staying healthy?
- Achieving or maintaining a healthy weight?
- Enhancing recreational or competitive athletic performance?
- Improving posture and relieving chronic fatigue and pain?
Whatever you consider to be your fitness and health goals, I can help you accomplish them. I take a holistic approach to fitness, focusing on improving your health, strengthening your body, and creating balance and well being in your daily life. Every individual is unique, so are his or her health concerns, physical fitness goals, and lifestyle challenges.
I am a certified Individual Conditioning Instructor with the YMCA and a Sivananda Yoga instructor. I am continuing to take additional training in the personal fitness field to keep myself current with the latest scientifically proven fitness training modalities, injury prevention and rehabilitation techniques.
As your personal trainer, I will develop a program that is tailored for your specific needs, and one that keeps you motivated. So, whether you are a recreational or competitive athlete looking for sports-specific training, or a non-exerciser looking for a safe and effective fitness program, I can help you take the next step towards your goal.
Maintaining optimal health is the only way to decrease the risk of disease and injury, while keeping energy and self-esteem at their highest levels. Exercise has been shown to be the best way of maintaining optimal health. Unfortunately, due to the hectic lives that many people lead, it is not always easy to maintain an exercise routine. This is where a personal trainer can help by keeping you motivated and guiding you in a safe and effective manner.
Personal Training plans
One-on-One weekly sessions
This plan keeps you focused on your goals and helps you maintain momentum. This is a great plan for people with urgent fitness goals, those who are visually oriented and learn best with face-to-face demonstrations.
One-on-One Monthly sessions
This plan is best suited for those who desire less frequent in-person training sessions, but want to sustain motivation and momentum in between sessions.
Location
You can choose the training location that works best for you. It could be your home, your workplace, my office, a local park or a gym. The choice is yours.
